My Kingdom for the Princess Review

My Kingdom for the Princess, the first game in the series had you rebuilding a kingdom. This time King Author is back in an all new adventure. The story is even more entertaining than the first. Author and the princess are on their honeymoon in the South Sea when they suddenly find their balloon shredded to pieces but things then get worse. Princess Helen gets kidnapped by dwarf Longbeard and Author sets out to save his princess. Instead of building a whole kingdom like in the first game players will need to do favors for characters to progress through the game. You will do things like collect resources, chase away bandits, remove obstacles, construct buildings that produce resources, complete bridges and finish roads. You will also be able to train more workers so they can help you to construct buildings or gather resources ect... You will need to prioritize and think strategically to make it through the game. There are many power-ups in each level

In My Kingdom for the Princess II, if you make a wrong decision at the beginning of a level you can get stuck! But believe me, you will eventually learn from your mistakes. New features from the previous game is a welcomed addition. When you are collecting resources you can now see how much time you have left before being able to collect more of that recourse. Animals like snakes, lions ect that will try and block your way can be chased away in this second sequel. Use hunters, snake charmers, and other characters to do this but you will need to construct special buildings for them.

My Kingdom for the Princess II gives you a whopping 60 levels played across 5 different islands. Each island has ten levels and 2 minigames. Each location has varying landscapes and tasks you need to complete to help save the Princess. The game is a mix of click management and simulation.
