Drawn Dark Flight is one game that has set the bar extremely high in the casual game world. No other game has come close to what this game has to offer. The first game in the series, Drawn The Painted Tower is also worth getting if you haven't yet had the privilege of playing. If you haven't played the first game, there's no need to worry! Dark Flight gives you a run down of the storyline from the first game so players won't get confused if you haven't played The Painted Tower.

Drawn Dark Flight picks up right where the first game left off. Iris is hiding inside a magical book. You must search the town and surrounds for 3 beacons and light them to stop the evil darkness and save the precious queen to be. The game has many area to explore, loads of hidden items to uncover, tons of riddles to solves and challenging puzzles to complete. Some puzzles can't be completed until you have searched other areas in the game but it does a good job in not letting you get to far ahead of yourself.

In the first game Iris was locked inside a tower but now that tower has come crumbling down around you. You will search the ruins, venture into the town and search the city streets, libraries and other intriguing locations in Dark Flight.

The new interactive puzzles are a pleasant feature and fit perfectly into the game. The hint system has been revamped giving you more direct clues on how you should progress through the game and hints to tell you were you should be heading to next if you get lost. There is a skip button for puzzles if you wish not to do them but I recommend giving them a try at least before skipping them.
