Unique scenes not seen in other games of this type.
Exciting mystery filled gameplay.
The game is way to short and the storyline is hard to
follow.

Search the Medieval castle, a secret laboratory, and even the
troubled waters of Loch Ness.
Alan Cameron is a well known Private Investigator and after strange
occurrences begin to happen at Devil's Ridge Manor he is hired to
check it out. The manor is located in the peaceful serene Scottish
countryside above Loch Ness but Mr Cameron soon finds out
that spooky ghosts and supernatural phenomena once invaded the tranquil
home. Your job is to search the Medieval castle, a secret laboratory,
and even the troubled waters of Loch Ness and try to solve
the mystery that awaits in this captivating sim game.
Although the game is interesting, the story is very hard to follow.
Most of the time you will be unaware what exactly is going on and
who most of the characters are. One great feature in the game is
that players have full control over where their character looks
unlike most adventure games. You can look side to side up and down
or whichever direction you want. At first this can be a little nauseating
but as you get used to the camera angles it's a great feature.
The games difficulty level is spot on. Some games tend to be to
hard and other seem to be to easy but Secret of Loch Ness does an
admirable job. There are enough hints so a player will not get stuck.
Cameron also carried a notebook around letting you know your tasks
and what you need to do. The one aspect that some players might
be turned off with is the fact that you CAN DIE! I quite like this
in a game as if gives more challenge but some people don't. There
are only certain points in the game where you can die, such as when
there is a timed puzzle level. If you don't finish your task in
the specified time you die. Once you die you are taken back to your
last save point so if you don't save often chances are that you
will find yourself playing scenes you have already done.
