An incomplete diary has been found at Ravenhearst Manor belonging to a young girl who used to live there! You have been asked to investigate Ravenhearst Manor near Blackpool England. In previous MCF games you have had to investigate suspects but this time you are searching for the missing pages of the young girls diary to find out what happened to her and unlock the secrets behind Ravenhearst.

Gameplay is like the previous games in the series. Ravenhearst Manor has a total of 32 rooms cluttered with junk in which you will need to search for clues. Once you have found enough clues you are taken to the crime computer where you will complete various minigames and piece together an old photograph to receive one of the missing pages from the diary.

Mystery Case Files Ravenhearst brings a new twist to the game. Various rooms in the old Manor are protected by different locking mechanisms where you will need to complete a puzzle to unlock the room. Unlike the simplistic puzzles in previous games, the puzzles in MCF Ravenhearst are creative and sophisticated and provide extra challenges to the game.

Both play modes have a timer but if you play relaxed mode your time is considerably longer. For each level in the game you have 5 hints which you can use at any time but the hints don't show you exactly where an item is. Instead it will show a glowing circle around the area in which the item is.

The one major feature I love about the MCF series is that you can play the game over and over again and each time you play you get a brand new set of clues and challenges.
