Midnight Mysteries 2 Salem Witch Trials is the second game in the Midnight Mysteries game series. As in the first game Midnight Mysteries The Edgar Allan Poe Conspiracy you will travel back in time to investigate the death of a famous author, Nathaniel Hawthorne who died during a freak snow storm. Hawthornes ghost comes to you for help to find out what exactly happened so he can be put to rest. In your journey you will come across eerie ghosts, poltergeists, and even former president Franklin Pierce. Go through each scene finding clues, investigating witnesses and solving puzzles. In most cases you are given three questions to ask but sometimes you are to give the ghost an item for him to respond. Some items will need to be combined before you can use them. Important information you gather will be recorded in your notebook which you can access at any time.

The games atmosphere is moor spooky and dark then before. The game also features a thrilling soundtrack that add's to the spooky atmosphere. Instead of having a tradition recharge hint system the game starts with a limited amount of hints but you can add to the hints by collecting crows throughout the game. With dark, beautiful graphics, a compelling story, and a mixture of HOG and point and click adventure elements, Midnight Mysteries Salem Witch Trials is even better than the original.
