Help Kate discover all the clues to the mystery surroundings her beloved grandmother.

After the death of Kate's grandmother she begin tidying out her office where she comes across a torn up letter addressed to Kate. The letter is from her grandmother and describes an entire secret legacy. The letter leads you to believe that there was more to her death than first believed. You will set out to explore Egypt, to discover The Secret Legacy of Kate Brooks grandmother! Travel across the globe and uncover a buried treasure! Collect the clues to the mystery behind Kate’s grandmother’s death and save the day!

Grandmother has left behind clues you will follow that will see you in various locations leading you to a dig site in Egypt. Here you will enter a young Pharaohs tomb. You will find ancient Egyptian tablets throughout your journey detailing the Pharaohs past and the struggles he faced.

When first starting the game you can choose to play in expert mode or not. If you choose to play in expert mode there will be no sparkles showing you where interactive areas are. The hint meter also will recharge a lot slower then in the normal games mode. The Secret Legacy A Kate Brooks Adventure is a pure Hidden Object game with a few puzzles thrown into the mix. Instead of searching for a list of items specified by words there is actually 4 types of hidden objects you must find. These include the traditional hidden objects, silhouette objects, item pieces and related items. Scenes in the game look 3 dimensional which offers a nice touch. As with most hidden object games, each time you find all the items on the list you will be given an inventory item to use later in the game.

The game has some technical issues but that aside and for such a small price to pay I highly recommend The Secret Legacy A Kate Brooks Adventure. To see if this game is for you we always recommend downloading the free version.

Hints Tips and Cheats

See the game HELP from the main menu.
There are 5 different cursor types which indicate different things.
Finger cursor - is the normal cursor in the game.
Gears cursor - indicated an action can be performed on an item.
Magnifying glass indicates that you can zoom in.
Arrow cursor indicates that you can move.
Bubble cursor indicated you can speak to another character.
You get penalized for random clicking. You will loose control of your cursor only for a moment.
The x button will allow you to leave hotspots.
Arrow button skips dialogues.
