The game story tells us that what happened in Sleeping Beauty was not quite right. The beautiful Sleeping Beauty was kissed by a handsome prince 1000 years ago, but instead of everyone living happily ever after, it removed a terrible curse from the kingdom. Pack your bags and get ready to travel with a detective to Edinburgh, Scotland to put an end to the horrible curse that is threatening the castle. Dive into this eerie Hidden Object game and help save Sleeping Beauty!

During your investigation you will revisit areas over and over again. Although this can be quite tedious in other HOG games, I didn't find this the case in Dark Parables Curse of Briar Rose. Each scene is beautifully detailed that you don't mind revisiting area's you've already been to. The objects you find are assembled to clear obsticles and clear puzzles in your investigation. Completing the main game will unlock hard mode which has extra content you may be interested in such as more puzzles, screensavers, music, concept art and more.
