Dr Artifact is a scientist and he needs your help in his new adventure. He is a man who will take on any job that other's run from. Dr Artifact is wanting to launch an expedition but he can't do it alone. Strange occurrences are happening in the thick dark fog in an ancient setting. Being equipped with unique devices, Dr Artifact sets out to research mysterious items as he travels across the globe! People from around the world after always after the doctor to have their relics examined by him. Your job is to very carefully decipher through all the artifacts he gets in a special lab.

The game offers 3 separate adventures in 3 amazing locations, Pyramids of Giza, Stonehenge and Teotihuacan. In the first time in a hidden object game you are actually able to shuffle your hidden object items that are on the list. Shuffling them will replace them with new items. While there are some simple to find items there is also items that are going to challenge your hidden object skills. The closing puzzle segment in the second chapter is one that you should not miss. The Ghost of Artifacts Past is really quite clever offering an enjoyable and rewarding puzzle sequence.

Like most HOG games there is a journal that will keep track of your progress but it also serves another purpose. It offers up very useful and sometimes necessary clues.

Another feature I should mention that this game has is the fact that every hidden object scene and puzzle is directly accessible from the main screen once you have completed the game. This gives the game a lot of replay value with the fact that each hidden object is randomized each time you play.

Artifacts of the Past Ancient Mysteries game is a decent hidden object game that I would highly recommend downloading.

Game Hints Tips and Cheats

You must play the first bottle in order to unlock the other two bottles.
Easy mode has more hints plus faster recharge time.
Normal mode has no obvious hints and longer recharge time.
There is a brief tutorial at the beginning of the game.
Minigames can be skipped if the metre is charged.
Once you finish the game you can go back and play any level.
A journal is kept to keep your clues in.
There is also the option to shuffle your hidden items on the list with new items.
